Our communicable disease prevention services are tasked with protecting the public from the spread of communicable disease, including:
– Education, reporting and tracking of communicable diseases
– Prepare and oversight of notification
– Management of outbreaks
Communicable diseases include STDs, Anthrax, Pertussis, Norovirus, West Nile, HIV and Food borne illness, to name a few. We care for those with a communicable disease, those who may have been exposed to one and those wishing to have information on such diseases and how to avoid spreading them.
